If you plan to camp, we remind you to bring a tent and whatever you will need for both day & night. No dogs please. Public restrooms with showers are on site. There are also group cabins available for rent, with bunk style beds. Each cabin sleeps 15 or 30, with bathrooms. A limited number of RV hookups are available. FOOD & DRINK
A taco bar dinner will be served after the ceremony, accommodating both carnivores and vegetarians. There will be water available, and non-alcoholic beverages served with dinner. We will have kegs from our favorite local brewery, Laughing Sun. If you are camping, remember to bring any other food & beverages you will need for the weekend. No glass please.
We encourage everyone to come out early and enjoy the fresh air. Bring your lawn games, frisbees, or bocce ball! We hear the fishing is pretty good, and there are biking & hiking trails on site. After dinner, there will be live music featuring many of our musical friends.
Is there drinking water available?
Yes, there is good clean drinking water available on site.
What should I bring? (PACKING LIST)
Here is a suggested packing list:
- Tent (if camping)
- Blanket or sleeping bag & Pillow (there is no bedding on the cabin beds)
- Bug Spray
- Head Lamp
- Water Container
- Food & Beverages (No Glass Please. We will be serving hors d’oeuvres and dinner after the ceremony. We will be serving coffee, tea, and beer through the weekend as well. There will be grills for cooking your other meals.)
- Warm weather clothes
- Cool weather clothes (just in case)
- Toiletries & Towel (there are many nice, newly remodeled showers on site.)
- Lawn Chairs (Optional for comfort. There are picnic tables and benches around the main gathering area.)
- Lawn Games (There is plenty of open space for fun!)
- Fun Ideas: Fishing rods, bikes, musical instruments for around the campfire.
Should I bring food?
If you plan to stay overnight either nights, yes. No glass bottles PLEASE. We will be serving hors d’oeuvres and dinner after the ceremony. We will be serving coffee, tea, and beer through the weekend as well. Other than that, plan bring any other food you will need. There will be plenty of grills available for cooking. If you really want to get your drink on, you may want to bring reserves just in case the kegs run out.
Are there RV hookups available?

Yes, we had strong cell signals on Verizon and ATT.

How much fun will this be?
This will be alot of fun. You will have a chance to see family and friends you may not have seen for a long time. You may make new friends. There will be great music. You will be able to leave behind the hustle-bustle of modern life for a few hours, and enjoy the fresh air and rustling leaves of the Siouxland Cottonwood groves. You may find yourself under a moonlit evening overlooking the Missouri River. Memories will be made.
